Sales Development in Poland for an Agricultural Machinery Spare Parts Manufacturer
Comprehensive market expansion support for a Spanish manufacturer of agricultural machinery spare parts, combining in-depth market analysis, identification of potential business partners and the implementation of a targeted Business Development programme.
Chaparro Agrícola e Industrial S.L. is a Spanish manufacturer and distributor of spare parts for tractors and agricultural machinery, offering a broad portfolio of components for the aftermarket sector. The company has extensive experience working with international customers and continues to expand its presence across European markets.
As part of its planned expansion into Poland, Tedalian delivered a comprehensive project covering market potential analysis, development of a market entry strategy and active acquisition of business partners under the “Accede al Mercado: Polonia” internationalisation programme.
The project began with an in-depth analysis of the Polish market for agricultural machinery spare parts. The research covered market size and structure, distribution channels, price levels, the competitive landscape, market entry barriers, and logistics and regulatory requirements. Particular attention was given to the characteristics of the Polish agricultural sector, one of the largest in Central Europe, with a substantial installed base of agricultural machinery and a relatively high average equipment age — factors that generate sustained demand for spare parts and aftermarket products.
In parallel, we developed a targeted database of potential business partners, including national and regional distributors, importers, agricultural retail networks and specialised e-commerce platforms. We then launched a multi-stage Business Development campaign designed to present the manufacturer’s offering, assess potential partners’ interest in cooperation and identify companies with the strongest sales potential.
As part of the project, Tedalian conducted active sales prospecting across 73 carefully selected companies representing the key distribution channels for agricultural machinery spare parts in Poland. The process included direct telephone contact, presentation of the manufacturer and its product portfolio, distribution of marketing materials, preparation of tailored commercial proposals, analysis of market feedback regarding pricing and the organisation of meetings with the most promising potential partners.
The project resulted in the identification of a group of distributors interested in Chaparro Agrícola’s offering, the preparation of customised commercial proposals and the organisation of business meetings both online and during international industry trade fairs. At the same time, the market analysis identified the key factors influencing the manufacturer’s potential success in Poland, including the need for a flexible pricing strategy, short delivery times, local commercial support and communication adapted to the specific characteristics of the Polish market.
As part of the final report, we also developed a detailed strategy for further sales growth, including follow-up activities with the most promising distributors, marketing campaigns leveraging the established contact database and recommendations for building the brand’s long-term presence in the Polish market.
